The Gombe State Government white Paper implementation Committee on Grazing Reserve/ Cattle Routes demarcation under the Chairmanship of AIG Babaji Sunday RTD visited Dukku LGA on an Advocacy.
A statement signed by Joshua Danmalam information officer office of the Gombe State SSG issued to newsmen said the visit is in continuation of the committee interaction with stakeholders on the way forward.
The committee met and interacted with HRH the Emir of Dukku Alhaji Haruna Abdulkadir Rashid II CON,the Council Chairman Honourable Adamu Mohammed Waziri and other critical stakeholders on how best to implement the State Government Policy in the overall interest of the State aimed at bringing a lasting peace between farmers/ herders.
It will be recalled that, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON has earlier set up the Assessment Committee, followed by a white Paper Drafting Committee and now the Implementation Committee which comprises ; Technical experts, farmers and herders representatives, Security Agencies and the Traditional institution to ensure smooth implementation.
