The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army(NA) Major General Chinedu Ralph Nnebeife has inaugurated multiple new projects at both Headquarters 4 brigade NA and 4 Brigade Garrison Ekehuan Barracks in Benin City, Edo State.
This was contained in a statement signed by lieutenant Juliet Adamu, acting assistant director army public relations,4 Brigade Nigerian army made available to newsmen.
The newly remodelled social facilities and newly built accommodation were part of the legacy of the Commander 4 Brigade NA Brigadier General Ebenezer Oduyebo to bring succour to troops of the Brigade who endured primordial accommodation challenges in the Brigade.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Major General Nnebiefe stressed that the newly commissioned projects were aimed at boosting the morale of troops as part of a welfare package for operational efficiency which was in line with the Chief of Army Staff’s Command Pillars.
The GOC also enjoined troops to make efficient use of the facilities and cultivate maintenance culture of their accommodations to encourage Army leadership to consider more projects in the Brigade.
