The Chairman Funtua Unity Foundation Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman has called on all relevant authorities in the state to look into the possibilities of reviving the dilapidated and abandoned solar system provided by the former senator funtua zone Mal Bello Mandiya.
The Chairman disclosed that the multi million naira solar panels system installed in Funtua General Hospital by the former Senator,was part of a constituency project in the Funtua zone installed about six to seven years ago.
Comrades Mannir Mohd Sulaiman said the solar power system played a greater role in easing the problem of energy and electricity in the hospital.Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman expressed the need for all those responsible to come into action and rescue the hospital to achieve the desired condition.
The Chairman pointed out that apart from the solar panels there is a giant generator set which is also dormant and unable to be used.Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman stated that Funtua General Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the state with several departments and units also being patronised by both people in the state and neighboring states hence the need to revive the solar system for the benefit of generality.
The Funtua Unity Foundation Chairman commended the efforts of the state governor Dr Dikko Umar Radda PhD con as well as the commissioner of Alh Musa Adamu for their untiring efforts in reviving the health sector in the state.
He said the recent recruitment of staff and general overhaul in health sectors is a step forward toward the state health care delivery system .
