As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and foster mutual understanding, Brigadier General Anthony Wende, who assumed office as the 20th Commandant of the Warrant Officers’ Academy (WOA) paid a courtesy familiarization visit to the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI).
A statement signed by Captain Odunayo Balikis Olokodana Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Warrant Officers’ Academy said the visit, held at the NASI headquarters in Jaji, was marked by formal courtesies and an atmosphere of mutual respect, underscoring the shared commitment of both institutions to effective cooperation in support of professional training within the Nigerian Army.
During the visit, Commandant WOA expressed appreciation for the warm reception extended by the Commandant, NASI, and emphasized the critical importance of sustained collaboration between WOA and NASI to enhance the quality and relevance of training across both establishments.
In response, the Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Frank Sunday Etim, commended the Warrant Officers’ Academy for its consistent contribution to effective training synergy with NASI.
He reaffirmed NASI’s unwavering support and readiness to deepen partnership, describing the two institutions as indispensable partners in progress dedicated to building a more capable and professional personnel in Nigerian Army.
This familiarization visit is expected to further consolidate the mutual working relationship between the Warrant Officers’ Academy and the Nigerian Army School of Infantry for the benefit of training and overall operational effectiveness in the Nigerian Army.
The engagement was concluded with the exchange of souvenirs — a symbolic gesture reflecting unity, mutual respect, and the shared resolve to advance training excellence and institutional growth.
