Executive Chairman Zaria Local Government Eng Jamil Jaga Affirm support for Household and Child Poverty Survey in the Area.

The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (JAGA), received a team from the Bureau for Statistics, Kaduna, in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government Affairs, who arrived in Zaria for the General Household and Child Poverty Survey exercise.

The team paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman’s office to formally introduce themselves and brief him on the assignment ahead.

Speaking while receiving the team,, the Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of Zaria Local Government Council to fully support the exercise.

He assured the team of the Council’s contributions in the areas of community mobilization, security, logistics, and accommodation to ensure the smooth conduct of the survey, scheduled to run from 30th September to 30th November.

The Chairman also engaged with several individuals who visited his office on various matters, addressing their concerns and strengthening the Council’s connection with the community.
A statement signed by the special adviser/ chief press secretary to the chairman,Ishaq Galadima said the activities of the day underscored the Chairman’s dedication to service delivery, partnership, and people-centered governance in Zaria Local Government.
