After careful extermination of what is happening with the patriotic leadership with fake publications is quite unfortunate to the entire profession and the ruling Organizations.
As a member of this profession I discovered this time as a tragedy when a Journalist can be hired to create unfounded fake news to deliberately dent the image of a good person like the Chairman of NAHCON Professor Abdullahi Pakistan.
Before this time Journalists were considered as members of the profession that deals with Probity and accountability before publication so that the profession can be protected even before any court of Law.
But what is happening in the NAHCON crisis has totally reversed the situation we have been being to hire and carry with Cash.Two to Three decades before our professional misconduct was only B-Envelope but nowadays the situation has been excavated and changed to Cash and Carry factor similar to our immediate un-named practitioners this is quite unfortunate.
It is damaging the professional competence of all patriotic working journalists in the Country. If this continues nobody will trust what we say through our Media outfits.
Throughout the scene of provocative sponsored fake reporting nobody is ready to report the views of 2025 Pilgrims to give the clear picture of how the operations were conducted, review the recorded success and listen to any complaint if there is but went on writing fake news only to damage the whole operation considered to be best in decades. Bravo to Professor Pakistan.
I read a portion of an internal investigation by NAHCON which revealed how our colleagues have gone extreme in Writing for money to damage a targeted reputation like that is happening to the able leadership of Professor Pakistan from a quotation from NAHCON.
“Behind the headlines, investigations now point to a network of journalists, insiders, and former officials working together to manipulate public opinion, manufacture scandals, and push for a change in NAHCONs leadership.
”From all indications many revelations are coming out against our selfish colleagues that need special attention and consideration of Professional Bodies to apply relevant regulations and laws to correct the situation.
Everybody is aware that working journalists are battling with law income earning but not damaging behavior to this level that can dent the Profession up to the present situation.
This is a big challenge to our Professional Organizations to follow what is happening in NAHCON to understand the level of colleagues who have gone to collect money to damage the image of good people with unfounded fake news.
It is their duty to bring all the accused Journalists to order so that we can clean the Profession from unwanted accusations.
Please don’t allow the pre-villages of social media to permanently damage our profession in the eyes of all Nigerians.
Professor Abdullahi Sale Pakistan should consider what is happening as a challenge to him to redouble efforts to improve more on the coming Hajj Operations
