The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad Jaga, this Saturday joined the people-focused Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, at a grand rally organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The event, which took place in Kaduna, was attended by top party leaders including the APC National Chairman, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda; the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajuddeen, Ph.D., GCON; the Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas; members of the APC National Working Committee; and other prominent stakeholders.
The rally celebrated the defection of notable lawmakers from the PDP to the APC, a move that further strengthens the ruling party’s structure in Kaduna State.
Those who joined the progressive family include Hon. Hussaini Ahmed (Kaduna South), Hon. Sadiq Ango (Sabon Gari), Hon. Mustapha Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau), Hon. Danlami Stingo (Kajuru), and Hon. Shehu Nulge (Birnin Gwari).Engr. Jamil Jaga described the development as a clear demonstration of the growing confidence in the visionary leadership of Governor Uba Sani and the APC’s inclusive, people-oriented governance.
He noted that the rally reaffirmed public trust in the party’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy and fostering a united, prosperous Kaduna State.
Upon returning to Zaria, the Chairman received the Rt. Hon. Speaker Abbas Tajuddeen, Ph.D., GCON, Iyan Zazzau, who was in the city to felicitate with his brother, Arc. Abubakar Abdulkadir, newly turbaned as the Wamban Dawakin Zazzau, and commissioning a newly constructed mosque at their family residence.
Later in the day, Engr. Jamil Jaga welcomed members of Zaria Youth in Debate at his office before proceeding to the Secretariat Hall for an award presentation ceremony organized by “Fans of Adda” .

Engr. Jamil Jaga reiterated that the APC remains a home for all — the party of progress and the sure path to a greater Kaduna and a stronger Nigeria.
