Governor (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN of Yobe state,today inspected the newly commenced construction of the Damaturu Modern Motor Park as part of the ongoing transformation to give Damaturu a face-lift of a befitting state capital 34 years after the creation of Yobe state.
The project is to provide a benefitting motor station for commuters traveling out and into the state capital.
A statement signed by the DG Press and media affairs to the Governor Mal Amman Mohammed said the project is being executed alongside the ongoing flyover and underpass at the city center to curb congestion, accidents and floods.
Damaturu is gradually wearing a new look with the already commissioned Modern market, township roads, housing estates, the remodeling of roundabouts and solar street lights among others to add beauty to the state capital.
