The Chairman of the Kogi State APC Congress Committee, Alh Lawal Samaila Yakawada has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of the great party, the All Progressives Congress, for the confidence reposed in him to serve in this important capacity.
He expressed this in a statement of Appreciation made available to newsmen.
He also expressed his profound gratitude to the National Chairman of the party, Prof. Nantewa Yilwatda, and the distinguished members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for entrusting him with this great responsibility. “This opportunity is both an honour and a call to greater service, and I do not take it lightly” he said.
Alh Lawal Samaila Yakawada also appreciated the Government and the good people of Kogi State for their remarkable cooperation and hospitality throughout the exercise.
He particularly, in a very special way, commend His Excellency, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, for providing the necessary support, logistics, and enabling environment that ensured the smooth, peaceful, and effective conduct of the State Congress. His commitment to due process, party unity, and internal democracy is truly commendable.
He noted that the maturity, discipline, and unity demonstrated by party leaders, stakeholders, delegates, security agencies, and members across the state made the committee assignment seamless and successful. It is a clear reflection of the strength and cohesion of the APC in Kogi State.
The Congress Committee Chairman reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the ideals of fairness, transparency, and collective progress as we continue to strengthen our party for greater victories ahead.
