Arrangements have been concluded for unprecedented launching of Renewed hope empowerment, ground breaking ceremony of some legacy projects and distribution of SUVs vehicles and Agricultural implements, Empowerment tools and SME support, facilitated by the Rt Hon Speaker federal house of representatives Dr Tajudeen Abbas for members of his constituency.
Our Reporter in Zaria reports that the city is wearing a new look with people looking forward to event scheduled for Saturday 29 and 30th Nov 2025.
Since his emergence as Speaker federal house of representatives,Dr Tajudeen Abbas has been consistent and has been carrying along members of his constituency in term of provision of empowerment and other incentives.
Investigation revealed that on the first day of the event, ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the following will hold at Ten AM at the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria.
The projects includes 1.Technical and vocational training college 2 College of Agriculture and Animal science 3.Sports Academy 4.Centre for management development 5.Women development centre 6.Males and females hostels at Nilest alongside the launching of 250 fully funded scholarships for students undertaking HND,ond and ND in leather technology7.Major road Projects
Similarly on the second day of the event, Sunday,30 Nov 2025, activities schedule for the day includes the provisions of the following to his constituents 1.SUVs to traditional Rulers 2.Tractors to farmers 3. Combine Thrasher 4.Solar powered water pumping machine for irrigation farmers 5.Fertilisers applicators 6. Knapsack sprayers 7..Petrol water pumping machine 8.Deep freezers for women 9.Grinding machine 10.Industrial sewing machine to support tailor’s 11.Haulage trucks@1.00.pmFilin nasara Kofar doka Zaria
Some of the residents of the Constituency who spoke to our reporter expressed happiness over the launching of the empowerment scheme which they said is timely,and called for the sustainace of the gesture.
They noted with satisfaction the journey so far as regards the representation of the Speaker whom they described as a workaholic,trusted and kind person.
