The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved ₦2 billion for the construction of new homes for victims of the recent flood disaster in Mokwa.
Vice President Kashim Shettima made this known on Wednesday during his visit to the flood-affected areas in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
The housing project is one of several interventions by the Federal Government aimed at alleviating the impact of the devastating flood, which has claimed over 200 lives and displaced thousands.
