The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Muhammad Jamil Ahmad, today joined the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, CON, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajuddeen, PhD, GCON, at the official commissioning of the Qatar Sanabil Project Phase 1 in Millennium City, Kaduna.

As quoted by the Chairman, “This project is a true symbol of responsive leadership and a testament to impactful governance that inspires hope and strengthens our unity.” The project, a collaborative effort between the Kaduna State Government and the Qatar Charity Foundation, marked a significant milestone in the lives of families affected by banditry, as they received houses.
The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; the Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Abbas Lawal; the Chief of Defence Staff, General CG Musa, and several other prominent figures.
The Chairman further stated, “I sincerely commend Governor Uba Sani for his tireless efforts in uplifting the lives of the most vulnerable in our society.” He reiterated his commitment to supporting such visionary initiatives, saying, “I remain committed to supporting such impactful governance that prioritizes the well-being and development of Kaduna state.”
