As Christians prepare for Christmas, they have been urged to continue to live in peace with their Muslims neighbours.

The chairman Christian Association of Nigeria,Bakori chapter Reverend Habila Yusuf has called on both state and local government to assist in completing their CAN Branch headquarters in Bakori Local Government.

The chairman made the call during a visit to the uncompleted site of the headquarters in Gidan Wulo Bakori Local Government.

Reverend habila Yusuf disclosed that at the eve of Christmas there’s need to be comfortable with conducive environment to enable them observe their Christmas festivities with relative ease.

He said both Muslims and Christians in the area are enjoying peace and harmony with relative understanding amongst them.Mr Habila Yusuf said Christians in Bakori Local Government are being treated with respect dignity and decorum, and thanked both the local government chairman and the people of Bakori

.Also speaking the Christian caucus chairman Elder Lawal Isiyaku said although peace reached appreciable stage through communal efforts,there is the need for both the two tiers of government to intervene financially for the smooth completion of the office.

Elder isiyaku Lawal said Christians in Bakori local government are solidly behind Dr Dikko Umar Radda led administration and will continue supporting it to achieve desired goals.

He then call on both Muslims and Christians in Bakori and the state to continue respecting each others faith with a view to achieving lasting peace and happiness in the state.

Elder isiyaku urged Christians to remain transilience and conduct themselves in an orderly manner during the Christmas celebrations..
