.,……Gov Uba Sani thanks members of the committee for excellent performance.

Gov Uba Sani of Kaduna State has welcome the Chairmen and distinguished members of the APC Congress, Screening, and Appeal Committees to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House for the formal presentation of their reports on the recently concluded Local Government and Ward Congresses across Kaduna State.

Their visit signified more than the completion of a procedural obligation; it represented the consolidation of democratic order within our great party, the All Progressives Congress.

Receiving the delegation, Gov Uba Sani noted that the successful conduct of congresses across all 255 wards in the 23 Local Government Areas stands as a testament to political maturity and institutional discipline.

He explained that, that the exercise was anchored on consensus is particularly noteworthy. In an environment where internal competition can easily breed division, Kaduna State has demonstrated that unity, dialogue, and respect for due process remain the strongest foundations of enduring political strength. Consensus, freely achieved, is democracy refined; not diminished.

The reports presented by Hon. Ibrahim Hafiz Kawu and Senator Binta Garba Masi , respectively, affirm that the congresses were conducted strictly in accordance with the constitution and guidelines of our party.

The emergence of 6,885 Ward delegates, 621 Local Government executives, 1,275 LG delegates, 1,275 State delegates, and 69 National delegates reflects a transparent, orderly, and credible process worthy of emulation.

The Governor maintained that equally reassuring was the acknowledgment by visiting members of the committees of the peaceful and secure atmosphere prevailing across the state, alongside the infrastructural and economic progress witnessed during the committees’ engagements.

According to him, these observations reinforce the intrinsic link between responsible governance and political stability.

He said that the state government is commited to inclusive leadership; transcending political, ethnic, and religious divides, continues to strengthen unity and broaden public confidence.

The Governor therefore congratulated the elected delegates and urge them to uphold the values, discipline, and integrity that will guide us toward a stronger and more prosperous Kaduna State.
