History was again made today as RT HON Speaker of the federal house of representatives Dr Abbas Tajuddin was honoured and installed as the Otunba Adekílúmọ of Ikorodu Kingdom.
This recognition from the revered Ikorodu community is a privilege which the Speaker holds with gratitude and humility.The ceremony was a beautiful celebration of culture and service.
The gathering was also to recognize the distinguished contributions of the Accountant General, whose steadfast dedication to our nation’s financial stewardship continues to inspire.
In the same spirit of tradition, my brother and colleague lawmaker, Distinguished Senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari, was installed as the Baba Isale of Ikorodu Kingdom – a proud moment for the kingdom and for our nation.
Speaking at the installation ceremony, Dr Tajudeen Abass extended his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Ikorodu for this honor, and pledged his commitment to serving with integrity, dedication, and the spirit of true leadership
