The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government has served as Chief Host at the flag-off of a landmark empowerment programme facilitated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, PhD, GCON.
The programme witnessed the distribution of 30 vehicles across 23 Local Government Areas, the three Senatorial Zones, and the State Office of the Old CPC Support Group, alongside the Renewed Hope Empowerment Programme, which provided 850 motorcycles to primary and secondary school teachers, Jumu’ah mosque Imams, party support groups, polling unit leaders, and security personnel to enhance service delivery and grassroots engagement.
The event was graced by the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, CON, alongside top political leaders and stakeholders, including party executives, members of the National and State Assemblies, commissioners, serving and former local government chairmen, and community leaders.
The Chairman commended Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen for his sustained commitment to empowerment, inclusion, and grassroots development, while also appreciating Governor Uba Sani for his consistent support and responsive leadership.
Special appreciation was extended to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the Renewed Hope Agenda, whose positive impact continues to be felt across Zaria and Kaduna State.
Beneficiaries were urged to utilize the assets responsibly and strictly for their intended purposes, while party leaders were encouraged to sustain unity and discipline within party structures.
