The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, has graduated:
• Twenty-five (25) participants of Standard Flight Operations Course No. 30 (SFO-30)
• Twenty (20) participants of Safety Management System Course No. 21 (SMS-21)
• Fourteen (14) participants of Communication Centre Management Course No. 16 (CCM-16), a NAMA sponsored course for its staff
The three graduation ceremonies, which took place simultaneously at the College ultra-modern Auditorium complex, were declared open by the Dean of the ATS/COM School, Mallam Nasiru Mu’azu.
He, in collaboration with the Course Coordinators, presented the graduands to the Deputy Rector (Academics), Capt. Jim Hassan, to find them qualified and admitted into the fold of graduates of the NCAT College.
The Deputy Rector (Academics), by the delegation of the Rector/CE’s authority, declared the graduates as graduates of the College.
He commended them for successfully withstanding the very rigorous academic demands of the various courses.
Their graduation, he assures, opens for them a floodgate of the vastly immense opportunities that abound in the aviation industry.
He urged them to always, at their duty posts, be guided by strict adherence to the standards and regulations that guide the aviation industry.
As proud ambassadors of NCAT, he further enjoined them to always exhibit the core principles of NCAT which instils professionalism; uncompromising adherence to standards; updated knowledge; punctuality & diligence in service; teamwork and excellence in service delivery.
These, he assured, are some of the hallmarks for a successful career in the highly dynamic and sophisticated aviation industry.
While enjoining them to always identify with the NCAT alumnus centres, he assured them of the College receptive open-door policy whenever they have the needs for guidance and provision of solutions.
He then exercised his authority to declare them as graduates and wished them safe travels to their various destinations.
The College Librarian, Dr. Mamman Jibia, amongst other management staff, joined the Deputy Rector at the graduation.
