ABDUCTION: POLICE, MILITARY RESCUE ABDUCTED VICTIM IN TSAFE LGA

Armed bandits have reportedly invaded the residence of one Abdullahi Isa Nagari, at the outskirts of Tsafe town,Tsafe local government area and abducted him to an unknown destination.

The incidence occurred on the On 29th January, 2026, in the local government area.

Upon receipt of the report, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Tsafe Division, promptly mobilized his personnel in collaboration with the Military (Operation Fansan Yamma) and launched a coordinated rescue operation.

During a thorough search of the surrounding bushes, the victim was successfully located and rescued, having been tied to a tree with a machete cut injury on his hand.

The victim was immediately rescued and taken to the General Hospital, Tsafe, where he is currently receiving medical attention.

A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest the perpetrators, while security patrols have been intensified in the area to prevent further occurrences.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, psc+, reassures the public of the Command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state and urges residents to continue providing timely and useful information to security agencies for prompt action.
