A Ghastly road accident claimed the lives of six young men in Danbatta local government area of Kano State.

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has mourned the death of six (6) young men involved in a ghastly accident on their way to their home town Dambatta from Katsina State.

It is with profound sorrow that I offer my deepest condolences to the families and the entire community of Danbatta on the tragic loss of six young lives.

The governor condoles with the family of the deceased, the Dambatta community, the State and Nigeria at large for the loss of these young men.

This is contained in a press release issued by Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

“The news of the car accident, claiming these boys on their way back from Katsina has brought immense grief to us all.” The statement said.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families who are enduring unimaginable pain and sorrow right now. May you find strength and God comfort you for the irreparable lost and may Allah SWA put them in Jannatul Firdaus.

The entire nation mourns with you. We share in your grief and pray for the departed souls.
