VC FUE Zaria,Receives Monitoring Committee of Revitalization Projects

The Colleges Implementation Monitoring Committee (CIMC) of the Needs Assessment Intervention Fund for Public Colleges of Education paid a monitoring visit to the Federal University of Education, Zaria

The Committee, led by Mrs. Etokhana Cecilia (Team Lead), was in the University to assess the level of implementation of the 2022 Needs Assessment Revitalization Projects executed under the Needs Assessment Intervention Fund.

Receiving the Team, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, welcomed them and expressed optimism that the monitoring exercise would yield a fruitful and positive outcome.

He reaffirmed the University’s commitment to the effective utilization of all intervention funds, while also expressing hope for additional funding to initiate new projects.

Other members of the CIMC included Comrade Adamu Bello, Aminu Auwalu, Afolabi Oladayo Sunday, Adamolekun Temitope Felicia, Okoye Ijeoma Modesther, and Ogwu Nkechi Stella, Secretary of the Committee.

Projects monitored in the University were among others, the completed renovation of the Twin Theatre, renovation of the Bursary Department and Council Accommodation, as well as the procurement of security gadgets, office equipment, and ICT facilities.

A statement signed by media Aide to the VC Sani Lawal maqarphy said the Vice-Chancellor was accompanied during the exercise by the Ag. Registrar, Mal. Shehu Iya Sa’idu; Deputy Registrar, Barr. Muhammad Saminu Abubakar; and the Ag. Bursar, Mal. Muhammad Kabiru Aliyu.

Also present were the Ag. Director of Works and Services, Engr. Aliyu Ango; Ag. Director of Maintenance, Engr. Areo Babatunde Oladipo; Ag. Director of Procurement, Mal. Maiwada Abdullahi; NASU Chairman, Engr. Abubakar Sadiq; Chairman, Senior Staff Union, Mal. Abdullahi Ibrahim; and the SRC President, Comrade Kalifa Yakubu.
