…Directs Immediate Assessment and Full Renovation of the Facility
The Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sympathised with the people of Rogo Local Government Area over the fire incident that affected parts of the Rogo General Hospital on Thursday.
This was contained in a statement signed by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Friday.
Governor Yusuf described the incident as unfortunate and deeply saddening, noting that hospitals serve as critical lifelines for communities and must always remain functional and safe.
He directed to commence immediate assessment of the damage and submit a detailed report without delay.
The Governor further ordered the full renovation and rehabilitation of the affected sections of the hospital to ensure speedy restoration of healthcare services for residents.
He assured the people of Rogo of his administration’s unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare facilities across all 44 local government areas of the state.
