In a renewed message of unity and communal responsibility, the Executive Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area, Dr. Mani Tsoho, has called on the Muslim Ummah to intensify prayers for peace and continue living harmoniously with one another for the collective advancement of society.
Speaking with newsmen in his office, the chairman emphasized that peaceful coexistence forms the backbone of every prosperous community and remains the most valuable asset any society can preserve.
He noted that Islam teaches compassion, mutual respect, and tolerance, urging Muslims to uphold these virtues as part of their daily interactions.
Dr. Tsoho explained that communities that embrace peace always experience greater stability, social order, and accelerated socio-economic growth.
He described peace as a divine favour that must be protected through sincerity, patience, and proactive engagement among residents.
The chairman stressed that progress cannot thrive in an environment where mistrust and hostility overshadow goodwill and cooperation.
He encouraged residents to focus on strengthening unity and fostering a culture of forgiveness, brotherhood, and understanding.
Dr. Tsoho highlighted that the world is experiencing significant socio-economic changes, and only peaceful societies can properly tap into emerging opportunities.
He said that Gwarzo LGA is deeply committed to building a model community defined by stability, prosperity, and shared responsibility.
The chairman urged the Muslim community to continue offering prayers for leaders at all levels as supplications play a vital role in ensuring a guided and purposeful administration.
He commended the unwavering dedication of His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf FNISE, whose leadership, he noted, has consistently prioritized peacebuilding and economic empowerment across the state.
Dr. Tsoho described the governor as a visionary leader whose tireless efforts have contributed significantly to restoring public confidence and promoting unity among diverse communities in Kano.He praised the governor’s strategic initiatives that continue to uplift the socio-economic well-being of citizens through inclusive governance and people-centered policies.
The chairman stated that the governor’s commitment to youth empowerment, community welfare, and religious harmony has played a key role in strengthening Kano’s security architecture.He added that the governor’s interventions in infrastructure, education, and social support systems have laid a solid foundation for sustained economic growth.
Dr. Tsoho further acknowledged that the governor’s administration has demonstrated exceptional dedication to promoting Islamic values that encourage peace, justice, and fairness.He noted that the peaceful atmosphere created under the governor’s leadership has become a catalyst for community development and social stability.
The chairman revealed that Gwarzo LGA has benefited immensely from the governor’s people-oriented approach, which promotes collaboration and accountability at the grassroots level.He reaffirmed his support for the governor’s mission of building a harmonious and economically vibrant Kano State.
Dr. Tsoho maintained that the responsibility of sustaining peace rests on every citizen, adding that individuals must avoid actions capable of inciting tension or creating divisions.He appealed to community leaders, religious scholars, and youth groups to intensify enlightenment campaigns and preach messages of unity.
