𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗘: 𝗭𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗔𝗦’ 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

The Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Muhammad Jamil Ahmad, had joined the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, CON, and the Honourable Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas, at the official flag-off of the Renewed Hope Empowerment Programme—a far-reaching intervention facilitated by the Speaker to advance the growth and wellbeing of the people.

The empowerment programme, targeted at boosting agriculture, strengthening small and medium-scale enterprises, and enhancing community leadership, stands as a testament to the Speaker’s exceptional dedication to Zaria and Kaduna State at large.

The event drew a host of distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, Governor of Gombe State; Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Deputy Governor of Kaduna State; Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, Speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly; HRH Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, Emir of Zazzau; the Emir of Hadeja, Alhaji Dr. Adamu Abubakar Maje; Members of the National and State Assemblies; traditional rulers; political stakeholders; and other eminent guests.

A statement signed by Ishaq Galadima chief press secretary to the chairman said as part of the programme, a wide range of empowerment items were distributed, including:–

25 SUVs for traditional leaders

– 50 tractors, 92 combine threshers, 100 haulage tricycles

– 4,000 solar-powered water pumps, 1,500 fertilizer applicators, 1,500 knapsack sprayers, 450 petrol water pumps for farmers– 1,700 deep freezers, 1,920 grinding machines for women

– 1,400 industrial sewing machines to support tailors.

This initiative represents a strategic investment in agriculture, job creation, women empowerment, and grassroots economic development. It aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, with Zaria standing proudly among its major beneficiaries.

The Chairman expressed profound appreciation to the Speaker for his steadfast commitment, continued support, and far-reaching contributions to the development of Zaria.

He also extended gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, CON, for his unwavering partnership in championing meaningful progress for the people.

The Chairman wished all attendees safe journeys back to their respective destinations and prayed that this renewed hope ushers in greater prosperity for the communities.
