Today, I had the honour of leading top officials of the Nigerian government to warmly receive His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he arrived in Brazil on a historic state visit at the invitation of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
This visit marks another bold step in strengthening Nigeria’s ties with Brazil, the largest economy in Latin America, and a strategic BRICS partner. From agriculture and aviation to technology and renewable energy, the opportunities before us are immense – and this mission is about converting dialogue into tangible investments that will directly impact our people.
As Speaker of the House of Representatives, I remain committed to working with Mr. President to ensure that the agreements and partnerships sealed on this trip translate into real progress for Nigerians at home
