In Kaduna State,a Sallah reception was organised in honour of the Speaker house of representatives Dr Tajudeen Abass with the executive chairman Zaria local government area Eng Jamil Jaga serving as Chief Host at the Sallah Walimah held in honour of Our Boss the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON.
The event was graced by our leader, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, CON, ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Abdulkadir Mu’azu Meyere.
Other distinguished personalities in attendance included Alhaji Samaila Yakawada, Chairman of the Northwest Development Commission; Senator Suleiman O. Hunkuyi; ALGON Chairman, Jamilu Albany; Hon Mannir Ahmed Lere, Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Mahmoud Lawal Bola Ige and Engr Isa Haruna Ihamo members Kaduna State House of Assembly, Local Government Chairmen of Kudan, Makarfi and Ikara, Hon Dauda Iliya, Hon Garba Sabon Gari and Hon Bashir Koli.
Also present were all Vice Chairmen, and Council Secretaries from zone 1; party stakeholders; Local Government Party Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Secretaries; Women leaders, Local Government Speakers, former members of National and State Assembly and party faithful from across the eight Local Governments of Zone 1, Kaduna State.
Religious Leaders, Business Class, heads of Unions, Civil Society Organizations, Several Associations and Support Groups were also in attendance.
Speaking at the occasion Eng Jamil Jaga sincerely and deeply appreciated the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, for his unwavering support, commitment, and the numerous impactful projects he has facilitated across Zaria and the entire Zone
He maintained that the leadership qualities of the Speaker have continued to bring meaningful development closer to our people, and we remain grateful and optimistic for even greater strides ahead.
Eng Jamil Jaga also commend and appreciate our Leader His Excellency, Sen Uba Sani, CON for his continuous support, cooperation, and strong collaboration with the Speaker, which has significantly contributed to the progress and development of our dear state.
Equally a day after Sallah,Eng Jamil Jaga also joined His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, to pay the traditional Sallah homage to His Excellency, Sen Uba Sani, CON, represented by the Deputy Governor, Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, at Muhammadu Aminu Square, Zaria.
The Chairman also attended the ECWA Women Fellowship Conference (Matan Zumunta), where I conveyed a ₦10 million donation on behalf of the Speaker to support women’s empowerment, alongside my personal donation of ₦1 million to the organizers.
