Sardaunan Gombe, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has felicitated with Muslim Ummah across the state on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a goodwill message,by his media aide Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Gwamna said that the period of the fast had provided opportunity for faithful to have deep reflection as well as draw lessons from the Ramadan to make a better version of ourselves.
“I thank Allah, that we all are able to see this year’s celebrations and I wish to encourage all faithful to learn the lessons of Ramadan to be able to better ourselves and remain committed and obedient to the will of Allah.”
Dr.Gwamna therefore, urged Muslims to sustained prayers for the good of the society and against the security challenges in the country, while expressing optimism that the country would emerge better and stronger for the benefit of all citizens
.”On behalf of myself and family, I wish Gov. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Emir of Gombe and the entire Emirs in the state as well as the good people of the state a Happy Sallah celebration, while urging youths to shun violence and to celebrate with caution,” he said.
