Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Abdul Rashid Muhammad Kuraye, a staff member of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
A statement signed by Ibrahim kaula Mohammad, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said Governor Radda described Kuraye’s death as a personal and painful loss.
He recalled that the deceased served as a Supervisory Councillor when he was Chairman of Charanchi Local Government Area.”He was a jovial and easy-going man, a professional to the core.
I will personally miss him, having worked closely with him during my time as Chairman of Charanchi,” the Governor stated.
The Governor also noted that Kuraye once served as Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, showing dedication, loyalty, and competence in all his duties.
Throughout his career in public service and broadcasting, he contributed significantly to governance and media development in Katsina State.
Governor Radda, on behalf of the government and the people of Katsina State, extended condolences to his family, the people of Charanchi Local Government Area, and his colleagues at NTA.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Kuraye’s shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
