NARC GRADUATES PARTICIPANTS OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND ETHICAL STANDARDS COURSE 1/2026

The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General JGK Myam (rtd) OFR, graduated participants of Human Rights and Ethical Standards Course 1/2026 at Hall B, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.

Earlier, the Course Coordinator, Major Doctor AFK Adasu (rtd), while delivering an overview of the course, stated that it was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of human rights principles and ethical standards in the conduct of internal security operations.

He noted that the course had nine participants, comprising eight officers and senior non-commissioned officers.

In his remarks, the Director General expressed confidence that the participants were now better informed on the prevailing challenges of human rights violations in operational environments.

He emphasised the imperative of balancing mission objectives with the protection of civilian and personnel rights, and charged the participants to actively apply the knowledge gained and educate their colleagues accordingly.

The Director General also thanked the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu NAM, for his strategic guidance and continued support to the Centre.

He further appreciated the Course Coordinator and all resource persons for their contributions to the successful conduct of the programme.

The event culminated in the presentation of certificates to the participants, followed by a group photograph.
