Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mourns Young Islamic Scholar, Ustadh Usama Ahmad Musa

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Ustadh Usama Ahmad Musa, a 26-year-old Islamic scholar and student who died in Madina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement signed by Ismaila Uba Mislli DG Press affairs, Gombe Government house said the Governor described the death of the promising young scholar as a painful and immense loss to his family, the Islamic community and Gombe State in general.

Ustadh Usama was the son of Sheikh Ahmad Musa, the Chief Imam of Chikaire Masjid, Gombe, and was known as a devoted seeker of Islamic knowledge who embodied humility, discipline and dedication to learning.

The Governor also described him as a gentle, focused and God-fearing young man whose passion for scholarship and upright character distinguished him among his peers.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, fellow-students and the entire Muslim Ummah, praying that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings and grants him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
