A Philanthropist and an Administrator in Sabuwa Local Government Alh Kabir Dahiru,joben Sarkin kogon Katsina district head of sabuwa,has upgraded, renovated a historical Darika central mosque and constructed an islamiyya school in sabuwa local government area.
The Multi Million naira Mosque was single handedly upgraded and renovated by Alh Kabir Dahiru sabuwa who is also the Director of Administration and finance of kankara local government .
Speaking during Commissioning Ceremony in Sabuwa,the former sabuwa local government chairman Alh shafiu Madawaki inono in company of all political stakeholders, commended the efforts of Alh Kabir Dahiru for putting the mosque in to excellent condition for Muslims to worship Allah the almighty in conducive environment.
Alh shafiu Madawaki inono said the central mosque was a historical Darika central mosque deserved such treatment considering its age long historical background.
Also speaking the Sabuwa local government chairman Alh Sagir Tanimu Sabuwa expressed his appreciation on the gesture,
He explained that apart from the upgrade and renovation of the mosque there was the construction of an islamiyya school with several classrooms attached to the mosque which is highly commendable.
Alh Sagir Tanimu sabuwa calls on all wealthy individuals in sabuwa local government to emulate such giant strides with a view to moving the area forward.
In his remarks the sarkin kogon Katsina district head of sabuwa eng Bello Ibrahim said he is overwhelmed and extremely happy with such developments in his domain.Eng Bello Ibrahim kogo called on the people in the area to intensify prayer for the sustainability of peace and security in the area.
Highlight of the occasion was the donation of five million naira by engineer Tanimu sabuwa to purchase a new vehicle to ease transportation for the mosque activities.
Among those who grace the occasion include Member representing sabuwa local government in Katsina house of assembly and several others.
