Highness the Emir of Funakaye, Alh. Yakubu Muhammad Kwairanga lV, today conferred the title of Dikuma of Funakaye on His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN.
A statement signed by DG press and media affairs to the Governor,Mal Mamman Mohammad said the appointment letter which was personally signed by the Emir, said the appointment of the new Dikuma was based on merit and his meritorious service to humanity.
Gov. Buni is a recipient of several traditional titles from within and outside the state cutting across all regions of the country.
Long live the Ciroman Gujba, Walin Damaturu, Zannah Yaudima of Ngelzarma, Baraden Fika, Zannah Gadama of Machina, Sardaunan Fune, Matawalle of Gudi, Yeriman Pataskum and of course, the Dikuma of Funakaye.
