…as Nasarawa to stage mega solidarity rally for President Tinubu, Governor Sule

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has been selected to address the National Economic Council (NEC), during its two-day meeting held at the Presidential Villa from Monday

.Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, SAN, disclosed this while presiding over a meeting with political appointees in Lafia .

Magaji, SAN also disclosed that Governor Sule will also serve as a panelist during the meeting where the Governor is expected to discuss critical national issues.

The SGNS noted that the invitation, extended to only a select few state executives, places Governor Sule at the forefront of national discussions on economic strategy, confirming his recognition as a key voice in the country’s fiscal planning.

The conference, to be chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima, will see Governor Sule contribute to deliberations on fostering inclusive growth and development across Nigeria.

This is just as the people of Nasarawa State are staging a mega solidarity rally where members and supporters of the APC would turn out in their numbers to show appreciation and gratitude to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Sule.

The mega solidarity rally expected to be graced by high profile personalities led by the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, is scheduled to be held at the Lafia Square on Thursday.

Over 15, 000 women, youth and men of goodwill expected to embark on a procession before staging the mega rally, meant to express widespread appreciation for the development strides of both President Tinubu and Governor Sule.”His Excellency, Engr A. A. Sule has done very fantastically well for us in Nasarawa State.

Mr President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu has equally done wonderfully well for us in Nasarawa State. And you all know, politics is about engagement. Politics is about perception.

“Our people are really desirous of coming out and saying thank you to the Governor and really want to say thank you to Mr President.

But there is no platform for that. We want to wake people up. We have decided to stage a mega solidarity rally to bring together over 15, 000 youths, women and men of goodwill,” he said.

Magaji, SAN explained further that the event will also provide the opportunity to formally receive those who defected to the APC, including national and state assembly members, as well as well meaning individuals who returned to the party because of the good works of both the President and Governor.

He emphasized that the rally is a necessary platform for the people to demonstrate their gratitude and to reinforce the state’s steadfast support for the current administrations.

“The rally is also meant to show opposition political parties that Nasarawa State remains a no go area,” he stated.

The SGNS used the opportunity of the meeting to caution political appointees against acts that could be misconstrued as disloyalty.
