…Inaugurate Projects at Rugar Balarabe
Gov. Buni today attended the finals of the annual Machina colourful Cultural Festival MACUF.
The Governor in company of the President of the ninth Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, Sen Musa Mustapha, Hon. Tijjani Zannah Zakariya, Prefects from Niger Republic, Emirs from Nigeria and Niger, and other dignitaries attended the Colourful occasion.
This was contained in a statement signed by DG press and media affairs to the Governor,Mal Mamman Mohammad issued to newsmen.
It said Gov Buni commended the Machina Emirate for preserving the rich culture of the people “The occasion is a perfect blend of the old and new” he said
He cautioned the youth against drugs and other social vices “you should make your parents,Emirate and the state proud by being upright and responsible for us to have responsible future leaders”.
Gov. Buni assured the commitment of his administration to continue providing infrastructure to improve the lives of the people.
The Governor also inspected the Machina Sesame seeds Processing plantnow completed and awaiting commissioning, as well as the Machina market which is nearing completion.
He commended the contractor, Damuli International Company for a job well done and keeping to time and other contractual agreements
Earlier, Governor Buni inaugurated a school, clinic, houses and mosque constructed by a philanthropist Balarabe Abdullahi (Balarabe DJ) at the Rugar Balarabe village
