The second Republic’s visionary leadership of Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa in Kaduna State witnessed unprecedented infrastructure development and economic activities.

The Makarfi administration built on those envisaged projects, constructing rural roads and empowering communities.
Governor Uba Sani’s current government has demonstrated good governance through inclusivity, fairness, and accountability, opening up rural areas with roads, healthcare centers, and cottage industries, such as the Agribusiness hub of poultry in Igabi local government area.In furtherance of his mandate and covenant with citizens,
Governor Uba Sani’s renaissance of infrastructure has earned him the title of Apostle of Rural and Urban Transformation ( Limamin Raya Karkara da Birane). In contrast, the previous administration of Nasir El-Rufa’i’s eight-year rule produced only 300 kilometers of roads, mostly in Kaduna metropolis, Zaria, and Kafanchan townships, with many projects haphazardly implemented or abandoned midway.
Today, over 14,000 kilometers of roads, mostly in rural communities, are 75% completed under Governor Uba Sani’s leadership, with projects like the Durum-Kuruntumawa Asphalt Road in Makarfi, Magajiya-Kasuwan Amaru, and Audi-Kako Asphalt Roads in Zaria, transforming connectivity, mobility, and access to markets, schools, and healthcare.
The prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has also benefited from Governor Uba Sani’s road construction drive, with the completion of roads within the university community, easing access to faculties, hostels, and administrative buildings.
These projects are part of a broader program involving 140 roads covering 1,335 kilometers across Kaduna State, guided by fairness, accountability, and timely delivery.
Governor Uba Sani’s approach has earned him gratitude and renewed confidence from the people, strengthening his determination to build a peaceful, secure, and prosperous Kaduna State, driven by inclusive, balanced, and people-centered development.
