…..Gov Uba Sani Commends FG for the initiative.

History was recorded in Tudun Biri village as Gov Uba Sani of Kaduna State joined the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, in Tudun Biri for the commissioning of houses constructed by the Federal Government under the Resettlement Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflicts (RSPIC), alongside key social and economic projects executed by the Kaduna State Government within the community.

The moment stands as a solemn and inspiring testament to our collective resolve to transform tragedy into durable progress.

From the painful events of December 2023 emerged a comprehensive resettlement response that has now delivered more than one hundred modern housing units, thoughtfully designed to restore stability, safety, and dignity.Speaking at the occasion,

Gov Uba Sani said throughout this process, the Kaduna State Government played a central and consistent role, delivering a fully equipped 25-bed Primary Healthcare Centre, constructing a six kilometre asphalt access road, establishing a Skills Acquisition Centre, and restoring places of worship and learning that remain essential to communal life.

He said “Through His Excellency, the Vice President, we also handed over Certificates of Occupancy and Rights of Occupancy to farmers whose lands were repurposed in the course of rebuilding

.”According to him, this deliberate step enables them to access credit, regain economic security, and participate fully in modern agribusiness, ensuring that reconstruction does not translate into dispossession.

Gov Uba Sani maintained that these interventions extend far beyond physical infrastructure. They restore dignity, rebuild livelihoods, and renew hope. At its heart, this project is anchored on reintegration rather than displacement, ensuring that affected families return to communities that are safe, functional, and economically viable, with the confidence to rebuild their lives and futures.

The Governor also sincerely commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his decisive leadership and compassion in initiating the Resettlement Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflicts.

He equally appreciate the dedication and dexterity of Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, whose oversight ensured accountability, coordination, and measurable outcomes.

Gov Uba Sani also acknowledge the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mrs Zubaida Umar, and her team for their professionalism and discipline in deploying resources effectively from conception to completion.

Also speaking , the Vice President commended Uba Sani administration for fostering unity across Kaduna, particularly within Tudun Biri, describing this cohesion as a credible assurance of better days ahead.

Other speakers similarly recognised our leadership for standing firmly with the people and ensuring that succour reached those most affected.

Gov Uba Sani therefore thanked the people of Tudun Biri for their patience, cooperation, and enduring trust in both the Federal Government and the Kaduna State Government. “Today, Tudun Biri stands renewed as a symbol of resilience, cooperative governance, and restored national solidarity.”
