The Chairman of Akko Local Government Area, Honourable Muhammad Danladi Adamu, alongside the Commissioner of Police, Gombe State Command, CP Umar Ahmed Chuso, MNIPS, FWC, PSC(+), has paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to Garin Galadima area and IDP camp in Pindiga central primary school.

A statement signed by Iliyasu Jibrin Pindiga, Information officer of the local government said the visit was carried out to personally assess the level of destruction and hardship suffered by residents following the attack carried out yesterday.

During the visit, Hon. Muhammad Danladi Adamu expressed deep sympathy and concern over the unfortunate incident.

He commiserated with the affected families and residents, assuring them of the local government’s continued support.

The chairman pledged to provide assistance for the daily welfare of the affected families and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring their safety and eventual return to their homes by the grace of Almighty Allah.

In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Ahmed Chuso, commended the efforts and bravery of the security personnel for their swift response, which led to the repelling of the attackers and the arrest of some suspects.

He further appealed to the people of Akko Local Government Area to continue praying for security operatives as they carry out their constitutional duties to protect lives and property.

The Commissioner also issued a strong warning to members of the public against spreading false information or politicizing the incident, stressing that such actions could undermine ongoing security efforts.

He reassured the people of Pindiga Emirate that the Nigeria Police Force, in collaboration with other security agencies, would take decisive measures to address the security challenges in the area and restore lasting peace.
