In view of the forthcoming 126th maulud of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass Alkaulahy RTA ( 40th series held in Nigeria) celebrations, coming up on the 17th January, 2026, at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, the Katsina State Police Command, in collaboration with sister security agencies, has employed strategies towards ensuring the safety and security of the good people of the state.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu said the Command has deployed adequate personnel and resources towards ensuring a peaceful celebration.
Emergency response teams are on standby to respond promptly to any incidents.Members of the public are encouraged to exercise high level of caution and cooperate with security personnel during the celebrations.
Also, to adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations, and avoid wrong parking or vehicles, especially in and around the venue so as to ensure smooth traffic movement.
