line with the welfare priorities of the 22nd Indigenous Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, PhD, aimed at recognizing dedication and rewarding excellence, the Zamfara State Police Command today held a formal decoration ceremony for officers recently promoted from the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) at the Command Headquarters, Gusau.

In his opening remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, psc+, warmly welcomed officers and representatives of sister security agencies who graced the occasion.

He congratulated the newly promoted officers and charged them to remain committed, disciplined, and professional in the discharge of their duties.

The Commissioner emphasized that promotion comes with increased responsibility, urging the officers to see their new ranks as a renewed call to service.

According to him, “You now carry the trust of the system, the hope of upcoming officers, and the expectations of your superiors.”

A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said CP Maikaba also appreciated the synergy and cooperation of sister security agencies and colleagues who responded to the invitation, acknowledging their unwavering support to the Command.

The officers promoted include CSP Ibrahim Abubakar Abdullahi, CSP Ali Haruna, CSP Samaila Mamman, CSP Abdullahi Abubakar Dass, and CSP Mohammed S. Adamu.

In response, the newly promoted officers expressed their profound gratitude to the Inspector General of Police for his visionary leadership, commitment to professionalism, and for fostering an environment where diligence, loyalty, and hard work are duly recognized and rewarded.

The Commissioner of Police urged that the ceremony remain joyous yet disciplined and reflective, as the Command continues to uphold its tradition of excellence. He further conveyed the hearty congratulations of the Inspector General of Police to all the newly promoted officers.
