Newly Posted Kebbi State Commissioner of Police Assumes office, Assuring Crime Free State

The newly posted Commissioner of Police to kebbi State, CP Umar Mohammed Hadejia, has assumed office as the 38th Commissioner of Police, with assurance on crime free state.‎

Briefing newsmen in his office shortly after receiving documents from the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of administration, the CP outlined his administration’s commitment to intelligence-led, community-oriented, and professional policing.

He stated clearly that, indiscipline, corruption, negligence to duty and unprofessionalism would not be tolerated as now police have map out new policies which to include community policing and urged officers to uphold the core value of the Nigeria Police Force, (NPF) which is integrity, discipline and respect to human rights.

CP Umar Hadejia, further explained that, his office will operate an open-door policy, so that members of the public, stakeholders and officers are encouraged to provide credible and actionable intelligence information, adding that all information will be handled with strict confidentiality and trust.

He also called on all officers and personnel of the command to demonstrate loyalty, dedication and professionalism and assured to work collectively to secure Kebbi State.

Hadejia also solicit the support of the media, sister security agencies and the good people of Kebbi State in order to improve security out comes and build a safer, more peaceful society governed by the rule of law.

CP Umar Mohammed Hadejia takes over from CP Bello Sani, who retired after rendering 34 years meritorious service to the Nigeria Police Force and the people of Kebbi State.‎
