Speaking at the event,Gov Uba Sani said the event was organised to remember the immeasurable sacrifice of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
The Launching ceremony which was an annual event was held at Arewa House Kaduna.
According to him,the Solemn ceremony afforded us the privilege to honour the nation fallen heroes,reassure veterans and bereaved families of the nation enduring commitment to their welfare,and mobilze resources to improve their living conditions.
He maintained that it was also a moment of quiet reflection on the courage, patriotism, and selflessness with which our Armed Forces have defended Nigeria’s unity and protected our collective future.
Prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of the souls of those who paid the supreme price, while renewed attention was drawn to the plight of widows, orphans, and veterans who continue to bear the burdens of service long after the guns fall silent.
Gov Uba Sani said his administration remains resolute in confronting insecurity through comprehensive and adaptive strategies that address both immediate threats and their underlying causes.
He said through sustained collaboration with federal security agencies, we have strengthened security architecture in Kaduna State, and our Kaduna Peace Model continues to deliver encouraging and measurable outcomes.
The Governor therefore urged public-spirited individuals, corporate institutions, and stakeholders to sustain support for our veterans and families of fallen heroes nationwide.
